They quickly helped identify opportunities of improvement, mentor engineers, and helped with our suite of performance tests to measure our progress release over release.

They methodically analyzed the architecture of our system and using a very realistic simulated load quickly determined the hot spots and identified opportunities for improvement. After a few weeks they had increased the performance of our system by a couple of orders of magnitude.
